aftercare

Follow our aftercare guide to let your new eyeliner settle in and keep your eyes looking defined!

Day 1 - 2

  • Wipe the treated area with provided wipes to remove lymph fluid

  • You may gently place an icepack on the eyelids for some relief

  • Do not use contact lenses or saline eyedrops

What to expect

  • Eyes will look swollen

  • Eyeliner will appear very dark and thick

Day 3 - 5

  • Clean the area with water or a damp cotton round. Cleanse in gentle dabbing motions, do not scrub

  • Rinse and pat dry with a paper towel.

  • Apply your ointment in a thin layer after dying the area.

What to expect

  • Flaking and itchiness as skin begins to heal

  • Refrain from picking at the scabs as this will cause premature loss of pigment

Day 6 - 10

  • The healing process should be complete around this time

  • If you wish, you may continue using the healing ointment to keep the area moisturised

What to expect

  • Flaking should be mostly complete

  • The color will begin to lighten as the skin heals. This stage is only temporary, the color will begin to settle into its final shade in 4 - 6 weeks

Important!

  • No sweating or exercise for 7 days

  • Do not pick or scratch the treated area

  • No sauna, swimming or exposure to steam until after flaking is complete

  • Limit showering to 5 minutes. Ideally use cooler or tepid temperatures.

  • No make-up of any kind should be worn until the area is fully healed. (At least 10 days)

  • Sleep on your back until flaking is complete.

  • Use only fingertips when washing your eye area. No washcloths.

  • Avoid lash extensions or growth serums for at least 4 weeks.
